One Heart Two Cities

Making space for a new life doesn't necessary mean letting go of the other!

What happens if you're in a new city, but still you think about your old home. About all the places you used to go with your friends and things you used to do while there? Nothing much, just life really. And sometimes it's hard to let go of your previous life and live life at the present moment. One of the reasons that this blog is about my life, partly in Lisbon and partly in Amsterdam, is not only because of the endless folders of photos from my getaways to Portugal, mainly Lisbon, but also because I feel that somehow by sharing them with you I'm living and creating new memories there as well.

These ones, in particular, are from my last visit and the first day I spent there. Since I arrived during the morning, I needed to make up for lost time, so Lx Factory it was. Lx Factory is a must go-to if you're visiting Lisbon. Especially if you are an industrial vibe enthusiast. You will lose yourself here. From restaurants and coffee places to amazing stores you have a bit of everything. And I guarantee you won't leave empty-handed.

We ended up having a super late lunch at Cantina LX, one of the first restaurants has you go into Lx Factory and after that walked around a bit. It's always great just to wander around. I would say I wasn't that happy with our food at the restaurant. Although we loved the bread, the food itself wasn't that good. I don't know if it was beginner's luck going the wrong way. Because people close to our table seemed to be enjoying what they had ordered. Anyway, shit happens. But the restaurant itself looks amazing. With a lot of farm-ish details worth of photos.

Find the bookstore Ler Devagar and again, lose a bit more of yourself. If you're a book lover I'm pretty sure you'll find plenty to love.

Am I mistaking or you've seen these jeans somewhere?

Has our afternoon went by there were some outfit photos to be done. As casual as it can be, cause comfort was my thing that day. Nothing better than some jeans and sneakers to make it happen. Again with my current most favorite pair.

  • The fit of those jeans is perfect on you! I absolutely love the beautiful photography.

Ah yes, nostalgia for the past is a funny thing. You will slowly and surely fall into new patterns though as you adjust to the move 🙂 I wish you all the best on your new adventures.

    • Thank you Adrianna <3 I really love them! Super comfortable and so affordable as well. Yes, nostalgia is really something. I'm sure, as time passes by, I'll get used to it, but still hurts a bit to not be able to be with your friends experiencing what they're doing. Oh well, that's life I guess. Thank you for the love girl! Going to take a look at your blog cause from what I've seen, looks really good.

      xx

Gorgeous photos! And I certainly miss the last town I lived in and my hometown. Hopefully I will move back soon, since where I’m living now is not so permanent.
